National Seminar Scholarships #K12PRChat Scholarship

The deadline to apply was February 2. 2024 scholarship recipients can be found here. 

The #K12PRChat Scholarship is administered by the Foundation and was made possible by the donations of NSPRA members who purchased Road2NSPRA T-Shirts. It is for individuals who are engaged professionally on social media and who participate in #K12PRChat on X/Twitter and Zoom.

The $1,000 scholarship covers:

• The cost of a registration to the NSPRA National Seminar and 
• Reimbursement for additional expenses related to Seminar travel, lodging and meals. (Reimbursement will be based on submission of receipts and does not apply to alcoholic beverages.) 

To be eligible for application, candidates must:

• Have been active in #K12PRChat within the last year (submission of applicant's X/Twitter handle required for verification);
• Be employed in a full-time professional school public relations position or have significant responsibility for managing communications for a school system or education agency/association; and
• Have not yet registered for the NSPRA National Seminar (current registrations cannot be replaced by scholarships).
