Alyssa Teribury joined the NSPRA team in 2023 after serving as a school public relations professional for 10 years. As the communication research manager, she plays a key role in NSPRA's research efforts such as coordinating and developing communication audits, SCOPE Surveys, data reports and whitepapers. Before joining NSPRA, Alyssa supported school districts and educational organizations across New York state within the Capital Region BOCES Engagement and Development Division. Starting as a communication specialist, she served in various roles for suburban and rural K-12 school districts. Later, as an assistant manager for the BOCES, her responsibilities expanded to include internal communications and marketing, website redesigns and communications research, audits and surveys. Alyssa's work in school PR earned the BOCES recognition from educational associations, including NSPRA and the New York State Public Relations Association (NYSPRA). She holds a bachelor's degree in public relations and journalism.
