In her role as administrative assistant, Kathleen serves as the association's primary point of contact. Known for her exceptional attention to detail, organization skills and dedication to customer service, Kathleen embodies integrity, kindness and a strong moral compass, traits consistently demonstrated throughout her career.
Kathleen’s academic background includes studies at Montgomery College and the University of Maryland, where she earned her Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration. Beyond her professional endeavors, Kathleen is deeply involved in philanthropy, co-founding the Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation, created in loving remembrance of her daughter Kelley who she lost to brain cancer in 1997 at the young age of eight. She is also very active in supporting The Lilabean Foundation for pediatric brain tumor research so that others will not experience the pain of this deadly disease.
Prior to joining NSPRA, Kathleen held roles of significant responsibility, including serving as the international central office executive administrator for the International College of Dentists and as the alumnae director at The Academy of the Holy Cross High School.
A proud fifth generation Washingtonian, Kathleen resides in Derwood, Md., with her husband Jim. Together, they cherish time with their two adult children, toddler grandson and infant granddaughter, who reside in Charlotte, N.C.
