Become an NSPRA Navigator: Welcoming New Members

NSPRA NavigatorsHelp welcome a new member to NSPRA through the NSPRA Navigators program! NSPRA Navigators are friendly faces who help new members feel at home when they join the association. Your warm welcome and guidance can make all the difference in their membership journey.

How It Works

NSPRA will provide you with the names and contact information for up to five new members in your NSPRA Region once a month. You'll then reach out to those members to:

  • Make personal connections via phone, video or chat
  • Provide information about NSPRA benefits and resources
  • Answer questions and offer support
  • Help foster a sense of community and belonging

Sample outreach, including email templates and phone scripts, will be provided to get you started!

Why Volunteer
  • Make a lasting impact on new members' experiences
  • Help strengthen the NSPRA community
  • Gain valuable leadership skills with a national association
  • Network with fellow members
  • Contribute to the success of the association
Requirements
  • 2+ years of NSPRA membership
  • Personal experience in one or more of the following NSPRA activities, including, but not limited to engaging with webinars, attending the National Seminar, serving as a mentor through the NSPRA Mentor Match program, posting on NSPRA Connect or participating in #K12PRChats.
