NSPRA has curated a number of resources to help with members with school communication efforts this election season.

Weather-related communication samples and resources are available on the NSPRA website to support school communities during the current hurricane crisis in the southeastern United States.

October 1 marked the first day of NSPRA presidency for Heidi Vega, APR, as well as the first day of service for newly elected NSPRA Executive Board officers Erica Chandler, APR, David Beil and Kate Crowder. The board also approved the reappointment of Julia Burgos as vice president at large for engagement.

Heidi Vega, APR, isn’t just stepping into the role of NSPRA president. She’s bringing with her a journey of passion, resilience and a drive for purpose. Vega, who takes office in October, will serve as first Latina president in the association’s 89-year history.
