Professional-level association members were invited to cast their votes on proposed bylaws changes from May 6-27. Following the closing of the ballot, the NSPRA Teller Committee has certified the results showing that all proposed bylaws changes have passed.
As we continue to reflect on and process the incredibly tragic and senseless school shooting that left 21 people dead at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, earlier this week, a stoic truth remains: As school communicators, we know this could happen in any of our communities.
Today the National School Public Relations Association is pleased to recognize the inaugural School Communicators Day. Last July, the NSPRA Executive Board unanimously voted to officially recognize School Communicators Day on the second Friday in May beginning in 2022.
Each year, the NSPRA Foundation for the Advancement of Education funds and administers several scholarships for individuals to attend the NSPRA National Seminar. Congratulations to the 12 recipients selected to receive one of the 2022 Seminar scholarships!
