Each year, NSPRA celebrates School Communicators Day on the second Friday in May in recognition of the incredibly valuable work of school public relations professionals. In 2024, School Communicators Day is Friday, May 10.

Not only are mentors ready when a crisis hits, but they can help a new school communicator chart a path for individual career success. Mentorship is also key to the sustainability and future of the profession at large. 

Each year, we call on every member to consider serving as an NSPRA volunteer to help make a difference in your association.

A school communication professional wears an incredible number of hats. One of the most visible – and important – hats is that of a community advocate.
