In today's ever-evolving education landscape, the role of school communication professionals is more dynamic than ever.
Whether you're just starting out in the field or have up to 14 years of experience, NSPRA Academy's New Professionals Track and Mid-Career Track provide specialized learning to help navigate the latest issues, challenges and trends in education and communication. Each track is tailored to align with levels of experience and include both virtual learning modules and in-person options.
New Professionals Track
0-3 years of experience in school PR
The New Professionals track is ideal for:
🌟 Practitioners new to the communications field or who are in the early stages of their first communications role
🏫 School PR professionals who have a background in communications but are new to education
🖋️ Journalists-turned-school PR professionals
👩🏫 School communicators who transitioned to the role from an education background
Learn the critical skills, training and knowledge important to the role like conducting research effectively, navigating the political realities of school boards and communities, crafting templates and resources to support daily and crisis communications, and much more.
Mid-Career Track
4-14 years of experience in school PR
The Mid-Career Track is ideal for practitioners who are looking to:

💻 Stay updated on and learn more about the latest digital engagement tools
🌟 Advance their leadership skills
💡 Explore innovative solutions to further their districts' mission and goals
Delve into best practices for conducting secondary and primary research, how to identify metrics to set measurable objectives for strategic communication plans, determining the best media strategies based on the complexities of today's communication landscape, better assess and refine budgets and timetables, and much more.
