Job Opportunity: NSPRA Communication Audit Specialist

NSPRA is in search of a communication audit specialist who excels at coordinating details, analyzing data/trends, taking initiative, communicating strategically and working in a collaborative environment.

This full-time position has the option of being fully remote/telework, fully in person at NSPRA headquarters, or a combination of telework/in person. Application Deadline: August 26, 2022.

Primary duties of this full-time position include:

  • Coordinate all aspects of NSPRA’s new in-house survey service for communication audits and communication reviews, under the direction of the associate director. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
    • Maintaining, updating and issuing onboarding documents for clients o Maintaining, updating and applying client customization as needed to survey tools
    • Launching and monitoring surveys and live dashboard
    • Providing guidance and support to clients on successful survey promotion campaigns
    • Compiling, analyzing and generating reports on survey results
    • Reviewing survey results with auditors and clients as needed
    • Ensuring the validity of the survey process and each client’s data
    • Identifying trends based on national averages and developing content on notable trends to share with association members o Identifying opportunities to enhance the survey service
  • Serve as lead auditor on at least four in-person/virtual audits a year. Travel often required. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
    • Preparation work with client district
    • Reviewing district materials and NSPRA survey results
    • Scheduling and conducting focus groups and interviews
    • Preparing report content
  • Work collaboratively with NSPRA’s communication audit coordinator and under the supervision of the associate director to support the NSPRA Communication Audit and Communication Review programs.
    • Attend and provide staff support for the annual NSPRA National Seminar. Travel required.
    • Participate in weekly staff meetings, virtually or in person.

Qualifications:

A highly qualified candidate will have:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the field of school public relations, with director-level/managerial experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field (required)
  • Accreditation in public relations (APR) (preferred)
  • Experience with databases, spreadsheets, website editing platforms, social media platforms and Adobe Creative Suite products (preferred)

Salary: $65,000-$75,000
