If you know a superintendent (or CEO of a school district, education agency or service center) who supports a culture of transparent, two-way communication, submit a nomination for the 2023 Bob Grossman Leadership in School Communications Award and/or the 2023 Communication Technology Award for Superintendents. Learn more about the awards below. The nomination deadline for both awards is Wednesday, April 26.
Bob Grossman Leadership in School Communications Award

The Bob Grossman Leadership in School Communications Award is given annually to a practicing superintendent or CEO of a school district, education agency or service center in recognition of outstanding leadership in school public relations and communications. Nominees should demonstrate support for the communication function by maintaining or establishing a communications program, position or department and ensuring communication components are included in the district/organization’s strategic plan. Nominees do not have to be an NSPRA member.

Communication Technology Award for Superintendents

The Communication Technology Award for Superintendents recognizes a practicing superintendent or CEO of a school district, education agency or service center for leadership in redefining, upgrading and integrating cutting-edge communication technology to improve and expand outreach and engagement with education stakeholders — both internal and external. Nominees should model the use of communication technology for all school administrators across the district/organization. Nominees do not have to be an NSPRA member.
