Superintendents and school communication professionals share a common goal: To build understanding and support for their school district's mission.
That's why we're proud to once again offer the highly-acclaimed Leadership in School Communication (LISC) program in partnership with AASA, The School Superintendents Association. The program is designed to strengthen the partnership of a school communication professional and their superintendent to propel engagement initiatives and communication efforts to new heights.
Now in its fourth year, the 2025 program kicks off in March. Two-person teams* of communication professionals and their superintendents will come together for monthly modules along with other teams from across the country to learn more about how effective communication strategies can help address timely issues like:
🏫 School closures and school choices
🔒 Synthesizing safety and security plans
🤝 Board and community relationships
🚀 Launching a district strategic plan
📉 Battling chronic absenteeism
🤖 Misinformation in the generative AI era
Register for the entire program as a two-person team (1 superintendent + 1 communication professional) or as an individual to take advantage of all six modules. Individuals can also register for single-session modules. NSPRA and AASA members receive discounts on full program registration.
Developed with the busy schedule and competing priorities of district leaders in mind, all sessions will be recorded. Participants can tune in live or access on demand for a flexible learning experience!
