NSPRA is now accepting proposals through Friday, Dec. 8, for sessions at the NSPRA 2024 National Seminar! Past attendees agree: The education, success stories, challenges and best practices presented by fellow school communicators and district leaders during the NSPRA National Seminar are invaluable. Submit a session proposal to:
💡 Share effective strategies and tactics your district or organization used to develop a recent project or campaign. 🎤 Present on how you successfully launched a new initiative. 🚀 Showcase how you're pioneering new and emerging technology to advance two-way communication.
The possibilities are endless!
Tips for Submitting a Proposal
Submit Your Proposal
You may submit as many proposals as you would like, but please be mindful that due to limited sessions capacity, up to one proposal may be accepted from each individual presenter from a non-profit/not-for-profit organization and up to one proposal may be accepted from each individual for-profit organization.
Those who submit proposals will be notified by email whether their proposal was accepted. Notifications of acceptance are anticipated by late-February.
What's the secret to getting your proposal accepted? Keep these five tips in mind:
Know the popular topics. As you consider what to present on, ask yourself what challenges the profession has faced lately. What strategies have you used to tackle those challenges? What professional insights do you have to offer others in the profession?

Gold Mine

A live mini-session on a program/best practice topic, with time for Q&A, presented at a table for 8-10 people during three 20-minute rounds. A one- to two-page tip sheet on the presentation topic is required. There will be two (2) Gold Mine sessions back-to-back on Wednesday morning. Accepted presenters may be invited to present during one or both Gold Mine sessions.

Amplify Session

Interactive, mini-workshop or in-depth lecture/panel discussion.
Demonstrate your experience. Seminar planners consider presenters’ experience levels, and if applicable, past Seminar evaluations as part of the proposal review process. However, all NSPRA members are all encouraged to submit proposals to gain professional development experience as presenters. Those with less presentation experience should consider submitting a proposal for a session type with more availability and/or identifying a more experienced co-presenter.
