NSPRA Executive Board to Welcome Incoming Officers

During its annual meeting at the NSPRA 2022 National Seminar in July, the NSPRA Executive Board affirmed by acclamation four new members who will formally take office Oct. 1: Trent Allen, APR,  Lori Perlow, Jennifer Dericco, APR, and Karen Heath.

Trent Allen, APR Allen will serve as president-elect during the 2022-23 school year and assume the presidency in October 2023. He is the chief of staff for San Juan Unified School District in Carmichael, Calif.  Learn more about Allen and why he decided to serve.
Lori Perlow, APR Perlow will serve as the Northeast Region vice president for a three-year term from October 2022 to October 2025. She is the public information officer at Haddon Township School District in Cherry Hill, N.J. Learn more about Perlow and why she decided to serve.
Jennifer Dericco Dericco will serve as the Southwest Region vice president for a three-year term from October 2022 to October 2025. She is the director of communications and community engagement at Santa Clara Unified School District in Santa Clara, Calif. Learn more about Dericco and why she decided to serve.
Karen Heath Heath will serve as the Mideast Region vice president for a three-year term from October 2022 to October 2025.  She is the supervisor of communications for Berrien RESA in Berrien Springs, Mich. Learn more about Heath and why she decided to serve.

A total of 12 association members serve on the Executive Board.  Their roles consist of a president; president-elect; vice president of diversity engagement; seven regional vice presidents; and two appointed vice presidents at-large, who represent different interest groups among our membership. Learn more about annual elections of board officers.
