Accepting 2025 National School Communication Awards Submissions

For more than 50 years, NSPRA has honored the best work in school communication through our National School Communication Awards program.

And this year, we've opened the submission window early to provide you with more time to submit your best school communication work!

From successful bond campaigns and crisis communication strategies to outstanding social media engagement, podcasts, videos and more, submit your entries for the chance to earn national recognition for your district or organization’s school communication efforts!

Submit entries to any or all of the three award programs:

NSPRA Gold Medallion logo

Gold Medallion Awards 

Program recognizes superior educational public relations programs and campaigns grounded in strategic communication best practices.

Fee per entry: $185 for members, $245 for non-members

Deadline: March 7, 2025

Golden Achievement Awards 

Program recognizes outstanding, strategic work in all aspects of school public relations, communications, marketing and engagement.

Fee per entry: $95 for members, $135 for non-members

NSPRA Publications and Digital Media Excellence Award logo

Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards 

Program recognizes outstanding tactical communication materials such as publications, newsletters, videos, podcasts, websites, social media and more.

Deadline: March 14, 2025

Fee per entry: $95 for members, $135 for non-members

Submit an Entry

Entries may be submitted in each program by public school systems, charter schools, private schools, community or vocational/technical colleges, state/national education groups, education service agencies (ESA), intermediate units (IU), boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES), and any agency, consultant or business in partnership with any of the aforementioned education entities. NSPRA membership is not required to enter. 

Student-written/produced communication materials are not eligible for entry. 

Entries that include generative artificial intelligence (AI) contributions are welcome provided the entry also includes significant human authorship that is pertinent to the entry's category.
